Interestingly, there are only two Japanese videogame companies that we know of that make game applications. Sony, and Nintendo. But hey, Sony already announced the PS3's specs. Who does that leave? Uh-huh.

Scroll to 1:40 of the video. The guy hears the phone, and hits the power button on the controller. How can that turn off the TV? It can't. That means the TV was already turned off. How was he playing it, in that case?
