A scream rips through my ears. I wake up with a jolt, and go outside and see Areo by a patch of flowers.
"What the Hell?"

 

[TheCreeperHugz]

"What's going on?" I ask, walking over to where everyone else is standing in the meadow.

 

[Beary]

I stomp my foot. "I told you we need sentries! But noooo, that would never help..and now someone else is dead!"

 

[PurplPanda]

I slowly wander downstairs and join the others looking at the body, remaining silent.

I look at the body, and scream. "What the bloody Hell are we to do??"

 

[Beary]

"Will you calm down? Stop screaming, and start digging a grave! We can't just leave him here!" I yell, glaring at him.

I flip the hair out of my eyes and approach. "We can't leave a body out for all to see."

 

[PurplPanda]

I stand up, and being the oldest of the group, I say, "I will lead us. We will find the killer, and we will eliminate them. No matter who they are. If they are one of us, we will kill them. If it isn't one of us, we will kill them. Scan the area for evidence, everyone."

 

[Beary]

"I just said that.." I roll my eyes impatiently.
"Anyways, how are you fit to be leader? You squealed in terror at the sight of a body, and didn't know what to do." I snort.

 

[PurplPanda]

I flip the hair out of my eyes and approach. "We can't leave a body out for all to see."

"The only ones left are the children. We are the only ones above 20, Arya."

I nod. "Even more reason to catch the killer. We can't have people killing children."

I grumble.
I take a hunting rifle out from inside my house and search the area, not finding anything of interest.

 

[Beary]

"Again, what makes you a better leader then the rest of us?" I ask icily.

 

[TheCreeperHugz]

"He's the oldest, therefore likely the most mature and experienced, and the best leader," I speak up.

 

[Beary]

"Could have fooled me. He couldn't even believe his eyes." I argue, my temper getting the better of me.

I go up to the angry girl and change my tone into something stricter. "He is the leader. You got it?"
