on a normal day, when everybody in England was asleep, the end of the world came in the form of a song.
everybody woke up slowly to hear a hypnotic melody lulling them back to sleep - well, more like death.
they went to the dreamstate, a scary place filled with your worst nightmares, a place you can't escape.
it started in europe, and went to australia, the two americas, asia, africa and antarctica. it infected the world. it infected everybody. the night demons came, but so did the real demons and started to rebuild the world. everybody was dreamstatified-
except for the 7 chasseurs de d?mons.
and that's who we are.
the chasseurs de d?mons are the french term for demon hunters. they are a group of people from every continent on earth, so there are 7 demon hunters in total. the term is in french because, long ago, paintings of a mysterious person making everybody fall sleep were found in france, with a half finished painting of 7 bodies standing next to each other and chasseurs de d?mons written at the top. nobody knows who made the paintings, and they never will.
the chasseurs de d?mons were made with a bit of magic in them, that made them invincible to demon music and gave them powers. All born on the 7/7/97, their 18th birthday is when this nightmare starts.
