[ROLEPLAY] Lyecra's Legend

Troops were still attacking the front gate but most now were either inside or dead. Wiping the blood from my mouth, I carry Asuka to a small little base we had set up. Seeing a doctor, I pass Asuka to him so he is carrying her. "She went down by the trees over there, Kirame scum got her." I see the doctor give me a strange look.
"She doesn't smell very Lyekari."
"New recruit."

I am handed over to a doctor, who seems pretty suspicious of us. I hope he believes us, I think. I can't stay conscious for very much longer, and I soon pass out from blood loss.

When I wake up a while later, the arrow wound on my chest is gone, and I feel full of energy. My clothes are still bloodstained, but I can get changed later.

"Your awake then." I say to the girl who was lying in a makeshift bed in a small tent. Our makeshift base was pretty small, but the battle was nearly over.

"Thank you," I reply. I would never have thought that my life would be saved by a Lyekari warrior.
It now hits me that I'm surrounded by Lyekari in this makeshift base, and if I make one wrong move and someone realises who I am, I'll be killed instantly.

I sniff the air. "You better leave soon. The smell seems to be wearing off." I shrug as I lean against the pole in the center of the tent.

"Thanks," I say just before leaving. I then add, "friend." Once outside, I climb up into one of the nearby trees and head back to the fort via the branches so that none of the Lyekari see me.

I smile and stretch my arms. Leaving the tent a little later, I approach the small team of spies who triumphantly hold up some files they stole from the enemy base. I nod. "Call off the attack for now. Mission complete."

Back near the fort, I sit on a branch to think. Why was she helping me? And if she's a friend, why the chains? Argh, I don't u understand this! I wonder what she's doing now... I bet she's planning something to take us down... What if she was actually jut using me to make us feel safer?

As the battle comes to an end, our troops march back to our main base. I try to come up with our next plan and missions, but I was so confused, it was like I wasn't thinking properly. In all honesty I had no idea why I saved that girl today.

My mind wanders to when she was holding me hostage. Dozens of our people have been held hostage by them before, almost all of have cracked and told them something when tortured.... Why didn't she even try to do that to me? She had plenty of chance to, it's odd...

"Commander? Are you even listening to me?"
"What? I mean, yeah!" A troop was trying to fill me in on our events but I wasn't paying attention. My mind was just zoning out.
"On the mission, we managed to secure several secret files regarding the weaknesses of our opponents and there plans. We also captured 10 enemy members."

I decide to train, and try to perfect my aim with my left hand, in case anything else happens that prevents me from using my right. when I reach down for my knives, none of then are there. They must be around the area where we were fighting.... I think, and I hop between branches looking for them. When I spot them lying around on the ground from when I missed, I realise how close I am to the Lyekari base. This could be dangerous...

I pick up the ones stuck in trees first, then jump down from to pick up the ones on the ground. A few Lyekari soldiers come out of the tent, and I curse under my breath.

"This is madness!!!" Other recruits joined in as we traveled back to our base. "Traitor! How dare you!"
I ignore the insults as we walk. "I'm commander, I'm in charge, now do what I say or it your heads!!!"
"Then you are no longer our commander..."
I feel a troop tackle me down. "Hey! Get off! You can't do this!"

Before I can react, one of the troops dives onto me, and grabs the knives from my hand. Just like with Deylia, this guy is more skilled at close range, and before I know it my hands are tied behind my back. I get dragged away, likely being taken to their real base. No matter how much I struggle and resist, I can't get loose. On the way, I'm dragged past Deylia, who is being attacked by some people from her own group. Did they find out she helped me?
