[ROLEPLAY] Lyecra's Legend

"Hold on, Theresia... I see someone!" I gasp. "Close the gates, and archers at the ready! Troops at the ready!"

I nod. "Aye. Then it shall be done. Both of our armies, I presume?" I ask.

( I think I'm good at this army stuff. o-o )

( You are! c: )

I draw my bow, and notch an arrow. "Which direction?" I say to Zara. "Archers, be ready! Notch your arrows! Javelin throwers, at the ready!"

"From the south!" I shriek. I grab a crossbow, and take aim.

I know I'm not good at shooting, but I must attempt this. I cannot allow that scum to enter this city.

Before we reached the fort's barriers, we hear that the Fort's gates are being closed. " Hm? Are they backing out now? But we did not even have fun yet! Those Kirame are no fun at all!" "Silence Kragos!, I whispered to my brother. They know that we are coming, so we better prepare. Keep your self quiet, or one wrong step can lead to our doom, understand?!" Kragos nodded. We quietly scouted around the fort, looking for openings.

(Getting intense)

"These idiots couldn't have an army without the demons heading them." I hiss, and grit my teeth as one of my soldiers is hit. I fire off arrows, and the front soldiers are taken out.

"Damn right." I growl, and spit meditatively over the side of the castle wall. "They probably know we know that they're here, Theresia. What do you propose that we do?" I shoot my arrow at a churlish lout of a demon waddling out into the open. Those things might be vicious, but they're as dumb as a brick when by themselves.

Where is that idiot Ramses?! He was supposed to take the army at the front? Now we can't get in that easily, but we can probably take the Karime by surprise. You know those idiots, they don't expect anything from us Lyrekai, but we're not just normal Lyrekai that you can shove off your shoulders. We have a plan. We grinned.
(Great roleplaying guys!)

(Thanks!)

I shoot at another soldier, dawdling in front of the gates. The melee soldiers run from all around the fort, cutting down whoever they can find. "We may have to use the cannon, Theresia. These Lyekari... they're planning something. We can take the dastards by surprise."

Damn right I do, I think, hurling the shurikens from my left hand straight forward after aiming for a brief second.

I cease my firing, and think for a moment. "What weaknesses do demons have?" I smile. "Fire. Fire arrows, perhaps?"

( Thanks! <3 )

"Not fire. Something.. cold. I've seen those little freaks running around with their hellish flames. Perhaps ice?"

I stop, and click my fingers. "Icy cannonballs!"

I grumble. "It's not like we can make ice arrows...they'd melt. And the cannonballs may evaporate before they hit the demons!"
There I go again, thinking I'm the best. I need to remember that Zara is my elder, and superior.

"Hmmm...." My eyes widen. "We could use magic!"

I shoot at another soldier attempting to kill one of my men.

I chuckle at her attempt and use my scythe to bat the shurikens out the way. I run a hand through my black and white hair and give the girl a piercing smile. Swinging my weapon around the tree, I chopped the base in half and the tree starts to fall.

We heard a rustling from the nearby bushes. "Karime Scouts! Look out brother!" We dodged and ran inside a dark, enclosed cave.
"The scouts lost us. We're safe, for now." We used our sense of smell to navigate through the cave. This cave, is odd. It has a very weird feel to it. It's like it was supposed to be there. We suddenly hit a dead end that was made of wood. "Huh?! Wood?! In a cave? What is this?!" A beam of light came from the ceiling. "Look up brother." I told Kragos. "Jackpot."

I dart back into the castle to fetch a staff, and return. I begin casting icy arrows, which splice through the air swiftly and slide through a Lyekari's head.

"We should begin teaching magic to the troops post haste." I say, nodding at Theresia whilst firing as many arrows as I can.

I snort. "Maybe I'll organize a few mages. But my Fort specializes in ranged combat." I fire off more arrows, and call to the javelin throwers to coat their javelins in ice.

As the tree falls, I adjust my hair again playing with my white fringe and over lapping it with the rest of my black hair. I stand in a ready stance, waiting for the girl to respond.

As the tree falls, I grab onto one of the branches of another tree, and swing myself up to it. I draw my bow, and notch one of the few arrows I have with me.
