That will help my hunger, but it won't taste good. I stand up and snatch the bag from Rose's hand and stuff it in my mouth. I hold my mouth then suddenly gag.

"You alright?" I watch him gag up the food. "Here try this." I hand him a canteen filled with water.

I swallow some of it and snatch the bottle as well. I chug it down and throw it on the ground. I wipe my face and walk away. "Thanks."
