I wish I could sleep too but I promised I'd protect them... Strangely enough, I don't feel human in the sense that I would get tired or hungry. Maybe I'm not really alive... maybe I should move on... Wait. I have to help them find Sage. I can't just give up now. That's not who I am. But seeing her hurts me more than I'd like to admit...

It hurts to be reminded of what never was... to know I caused all her pain... all her suffering... We were happy... once. But now, all I seem to be able to do is to add to her pain...

If only we had met under better circumstances... then she wouldn't have to give up on the life she's always wanted... and maybe, just maybe, I could've been the one to give it to her...
