[Roleplay] The Aftermath

[Jawile]

"Ya's died, or something, I don't keep track of ya." I say with a grumpy tone.

 

[Beary]

I roll my eyes in response to his statement. "Obviously I'm not dead."

 

[Myst]

I repeat, growing slightly annoyed, "Did you guys bring any supplies with you? I have a few things in my bag."

 

[Jawile]

"I can always get more. Ya's don't need supplies when ya've got a CHAINGUN!" Without thinking, I start firing into the sky. "Woooo!"

 

[Myst]

I spit out, oozing sarcasm, "What about food, smart one?"

 

[nard]

"Um, Ans, you might want to stop, that could attract.." Stomp, stomp, stomp.

 

[Naiad]

(( I go off to art and I come back to the funniest thing ever omfg ))

I shrug, "The food was in the bakery, which apparently caught on fire. I saw a Skyscraper awhile back that we can use as shelter, but I doubt it has any food in it."

 

[Myst]

Should I even tell them I brought food with me? It's not much but we could survive for a few days off of it. I decide to not mention it and say, "Maybe we can find food elsewhere?"

 

[toxapex]

I exit the bunker I'd been sleeping in, and squint while my eyes adjusted to the light. I hear what seems to be a machine gun echoing from the edge of the city. Thinking there must be trouble, I sprint in that direction.

 

[Jawile]

I stop firing, and laugh. "This gun reminds me of my old wife..."

 

[Beary]

"You were married?" I say, incredulous.
I hear something coming from inside the city. and cringe.

 

[Myst]

I suggest, "We could always go back to the bunker and stock up on supplies."

 

[Jawile]

"Heh, yeah. She was killed, by the bomb..." I hear stomping. "What's'at?"

 

[toxapex]

As I enter the outskirts of the city, I feel the ground shake under my feet. Maybe I'm the one who's walking into trouble...

 

[nard]

I look up to see a beast, about 10 feet taller than the ones we've seen. "Uh, guys, look up. And then once you do, follow me!" I turn and run further into the city. I hope there's some good shelter in here...

 

[Beary]

"Oh.." I say quietly, not sure what to say. Then, hearing Orion, I look up, and fall over.
I can't move. It has the head of a snake!

 

[Myst]

I run after the others, making as much distance between myself and the beast.

 

[Beary]

"Sn-sn..SNAKE!" I cry, shivering. I had had a horrible fear of snakes after one crawled into my crib as a baby.

 

[toxapex]

I hear a faint voice yelling, "follow me!" I try to run after it, but the city is huge, and I can't be sure where it came from. I decide to just head deeper into the city.

 

[nard]

I turn back to see Jade. I skid to a stop and run back for her. "Everyone else, go!" I grab her and heave her over my back, and go back to running away. As I start, a snake jumps down from the McDonald's roof and sinks its venom into my arm. I yelp, but keep going. Argh...
