Aki saw what Kaida was doing. He didn't think, didn't hesitate, all that was shown was his love for her. He didn't even know her name, and yet he loved her.

Without hesitation, he sprang up and ran at Kaida. With a swift and decisive motion, he knocked the gun out of her hand and hugged her tight. His face was wet with tears and he was sobbing uncontrollably.

"I'm not letting go!" He managed to say, between sobs. "I am not letting another friend die!"

His heart rate increased rapidly. "Y-You...must live. Junpei would want that." He said, between sobs.
