The Elements
{You must write in first-person, and write in a colour that isn't black when writing in the roleplay.}
In this world, one in every fifty children born within a small isolated village called Numa is born with a gift -- they are called Nellituol.
All Nellituol are marked with the same marking on any part of their body.
Prejudice and hatred sweeps through Numa village for the Nellituol; many families shun and abuse their Nellituol children. Once, the Nellituol were the pride of Numa village, yet are now simply the outcasts of their society. The Nellituol grow in fewer numbers due to the widespread belief that they are unnatural, and sinful. Old and wise Nellituol have created separate schools for the Nellituol which are held on the mountaintops, away from the central of Numa village. Nellituol students are taught from the age of 6 to 21, and are taught how to use their power to the fullest, and are passed down wisdom from their Nellituol elders.

Nellituol Groups

Ddaeranue = This group of Nellituol manipulate wind; they can conjure whirlwinds and turn gouts of air to ice.

Nnuamai = Nellituol of the Nnuamai group can affect the ground they stand upon, such as conjuring earthquakes.

Aumawi = These Nellituol can use water as their ally; they can form its shape, and defy the physics of water.

~ Name: Amiara
~ Age: 13
~ Nellituol or not? (if yes, include group): Yes, Aumawi
~ Personality: Very shy and self-conscious
~ Appearance: Dark skin, dark brown eyes, very curly hair almost to shoulders, thin almond-shaped eyes, slightly red lips (with a small cut on bottom lip), 5"2, usually wears a long-sleeved dark green dress to the mid-shins, wears black sandals and a beaded rope bracelet
~ Location of Nellituol marking: Beside ear (this is covered with her hair)
~ Weakness (only 3): not very strong, cannot use heavy weaponry, stamina is not very good
~ Strength (only 3): agile, can use small weapons (e.g: daggers) considerably well, good balance
~ Extra info: Amiara's father is very cruel to her, and believes the Nellituol are disgusting, vile beings. He tries his best to keep her in control, to hide her gift. He always makes sure her hair covers her Nellituol mark, or a hat does. Her mother is different; she is a Nellituol of the Aumawai, yet her father does not know due to her mark being underneath her hair. She always supports Amiara and helps her with her Nellituol abilities and teaches her combat with daggers when Amiara's father is at work (which is most of the time).

Amiara is very passionate, yet too shy to express herself. She dislikes the fact that she is different to the majority of people her age.

"One." I whisper. I thrust my arms out, the cloud of water floats. "Two." I prepare my stance. "Three!" The water shoots skyward like a torpedo, sending droplets of water raining down. I watched them fall, radiating colourful light. Again. "One." Thrust. "Two." Stance. "Three!" Another downfall of water collided with the ground. I repeat this ritual repeatedly, until my energy dissipates. I exhale slowly, and sit with my bare feet within the safe embrace of the water. This is always the best place to go to think. When I sit here, feeling the icy cold tingle of water, I feel whole again. As if there's nothing to worry about. Mum always used to cover my ears when they murmured of me. Disapproved of me. Spoke badly of me. Their children used to speak badly of me too, staring at me. Whispering. Fabricating lies of me. I close my eyes tightly, attempting to block out the abhorrent memories.

This sounds interesting, I'll join :)

~ Name: Mikasa
~ Age: 16
~ Nellituol or not? (if yes, include group): Yes, Aumawi
~ Personality: Loud and boisterous
~ Appearance: Long black hair down to past the elbows, hazel eyes, often dresses like a boy (shorts etc), short for her age (only 5"4)
~ Location of Nellituol marking: Back of the left hand.
~ Weakness (only 3): Not very strong, cannot use heavy weaponry, fairly easily injured.
~ Strength (only 3): Very fast, can climb up practically anything, has quite a lot of stamina.
~ Extra info: As her marking is clearly visible on her hand, Mikasa has always been shunned by everyone, from kids at school to her own brother. She is openly loud and boisterous, and often loses her temper with those who mock her. Her entire family are 'normal', and no one would ever teach her things besides from at school, so she taught herself to climb as well as shoot a bow, although her aim still isn't particularly good. All Mikasa wants to do is make friends, and have people accept her for who she is

(Is this alright?)

~ Name: Alexiandria
~ Age: 17
~ Nellituol or not? (if yes, include group): yes, Nunami
~ Personality: outspoken, loud and occasionally shy(VERY rarely). I'm never afraid to give my opionion.
~ Appearance: Dark brown skin, 6ft, black eyes and black hair in braids
~ Location of Nellituol marking: the top of my scalp
~ Weakness (only 3): Water, words, and warm hugs(a placeholder xD)
~ Strength (only 3): Powerful, giant, and self-dependant
~ Extra info: Since Alexandria lost her parents at the age of 5, she's learned to be very self dependent. Cold, rude, and unfriendly ruins her reputation with many. Around the age of 14 she decided to put away her unkind ways and try to get along with other people. But. it was too late. Her Nellituol marking is invisible to the eye, so that isn't really a problem for her.
Now she seeks to rectify her mistakes.

(Is that good?)

Bored out of my mind, with nothing to do, I sit down by the nearby lake. I mutter an old Latin word that I learned from a book, "Proluit," and thrust my hands up, then swirl them around in a small circle, and then watch as the water in front of me rise up and imitate the swirling motion of my hands.
"This is boring..." I tell myself, and I decide to try something bigger.

I wake up in my new place. This village of Edinso is so dull. The streets are dark brown, everything seems to be dark, and it's just generally unpleasant. "Why couldn't I find a better village to live in?" I ask myself quietly. Ignoring the scared looks of the civlians walking by, I go to my "special place" also known as the Summit. I raise my hands as tall as I am, and the earth below me rises. I can see the village from here, also another village. Numa, I believe it was named? Maybe. I don't know. One thing I do know is that I see a very bored girl in a very pretty village...

Something bigger this time, I think to myself.
I stand up, outstretch my arms and slowly raise them. When the water follows suit, I thrust my arms away from my body, causing the water to suddenly rush away from me. The pillar of water crashes down about 10 metres away, and I get splashed by the resulting wave that crashed back onto me.

on the other side of the lake,I have been there sitting, thinking about the family and friends who had died just to protect me.I was just sitting there, but I saw a girl on the other side saying a latin word quietly and being gushed by a pillar of water

I see that same girl send up a giant blast of water. "Hmm, a freak like me. Wonder if they know how to use their powers to their full abilities? I command the rock to let me down, a little bit too hastily. As I fall down, I think of how much of an idiot I truly am. Anyway, I wanted a better place than Edinso, what about here in Numa? "IT all depends..." I say, this time out loud. Anyway, I would like to see if this girl is the somebody that will finally understand me! "Gah...." Should I go or not? I decide to go after pondering it for about 15 minutes, doing walking-earth style. I push my hands behind me, and off I go! I don't stop until the girl is about 10 feet away from me.
"Great, another freak." The heartless townpeople say.

feeling bad for the girl who had been gushed by water,i used a small gush of wind to dry her off

I noticed another girl, seemily shy and sad. Both of them have turned to look at me. I felt even more like an outcast. These people are no better than the people in Edinso.

You know what? I'm gonna try this.

~ Name: Rory

~ Personality: Quiet yet intense voice, yet brave
~ Appearance: red hair, blue eyes, pale skin
~ Location of Nellituol marking: back
~ Weakness (only 3): horrible in hand to hand and melee, weak, does not care about protection/armor
~ Strength (only 3): very tactical and strategic, works well with a bow and arrow or any type of projectile, agile

"Hello," I say two two girls who had came over to me. Judging by the fact that one blew the water from my face, and the other came here by manipulating the ground, I can tell that both are Nellituol like myself.

The shy girl smiled.
"Hi." I said, with uncertainty in my voice. At least here there are other cursed children like me. Unlike in Edinso, where everybody is normal and shunning me. I begin to ignore them, and focus on these two girls.
