Hello, and welcome to Rose Garden! This town has only been established for a short time now, and it is my job to keep track of the going ons around town. I based this town off of one of the towns in a universe I had created and written, and Animal Crossing was the perfect medium to help me make it come alive.

I'll try to keep this journal as updated as I possibly can. And I'll try to provide good story telling, desgin updates, and more.

ROSEGARDEN
A small town built in a valley between mountains. Based off of small towns in the USA, mainly the New England area.

January 17th

Okay so I tend to play earlier than this but I had things to do today, here is our wonderful POV, Ribbon! Shes standing in front of what is going to be the guild hall!

(Also little sidenote, Ribbon is not supoosed to be me. I usually dont make my character look like me at all in these types of games because I prefer to roleplay. :>)

Not a lot happened today, Celia had moved out, which was a shame but we did get a new townie to move in after

She seems nice! A little...odd but nice! Rose Garden is known for having a few quirky types so she probably won't stick out too much.

This is town square. Or well, one part if it. Its empty right now, since its still being remodeled. In fact the whole town is, its been a pretty stressful process for everyone but we're slowly making our way through it.

(BTW: Thanks to @ren04at for the creative lamposts idea!)

(Usually its better astehtic wise to match colors, but a brown or black signpost and trash can just seemed so...bland to me. I want my town to at least have a bit of color!)

We've been gathering supplies to fix the bridge since it broke down during a winter storm. With so many rivers running through town its of utmost important its fixed quickly- but no one can decide what materials to use!

Anyways, today was a little uneventful. Hopefully we can continue repairing the town.

Janurary 18th - 19th

It has completely slipped my mind to pencil down the past several days. Let me refresh everyone on what has happend...

We got another visitor, which is very rare to get them so close together like this. ​

Another rabbit! Must be a teacher on a little trip too.

OH! So he was moving here. Well he seems nice, welcome to Rose Garden!

I was a little sad to see her go. At least she had the chance to tell me before she left. I'll miss you too Ms. Audie

On the way back from seeing Audie off at the train station I ran into Ms. Tiffany! I was...pretty scared. She seemed in a good mood tonight though. Guess its because she's more of a night owl.

(Wonder who or what she's side-eyeing hah!)

So, after some rest the next morning I woke up to the bridge being fixed. Everyone decided on a brick bridge. I really liked the wooden one. But I guess a brick one is better aganist water.

Afterwards I sort of wandered around town. I ran into Ms. Norma, and she taught me her bread recipe!

I remebered I had news at the muesuem so I rushed over - but ran into Ms. Ruby again.

Yup...she fits this town like a glove. ​

When I finally got to the muesuem turns out the statue I was given was fake. I was more embarrassed than angry I think.

That does it for those last few days. I'll try to leave little reminders to myself to keep updating this. I hate how easy I forget things!
