I notice people have started to gather around me. "Leave Tira alone! She isn't happy! And the last time Tira wasn't happy, the person was in a hospital for three months."
 
"In case you haven't noticed, we're already in a mental hospital, so there's not much more you can do. Just tell us what's wrong."
 
She put someone in hospital? Maybe I should just go, it might be safer... "Tira, what's wrong?" I find myself asking anyway.
 
I stand up, whisper in her ear. "Tira... Feels... Like she has butterflies in her stomach after Satoshi was mean... Tira doesn't understand why so she thought she was dying so she ran off..."
 
I don't know how to respond to this. "I'm sure you'll be fine." I tell her, not entirely convinced. Maybe there's some chemistry there.
 
iI watch the two curiously. How come people will never talk to me but they'll talk to other people? I think, feeling a little left out.

As I`m walking I see Tira, Penny and Ava up ahead and walk over, "hey guys, what was with all the racket earlier? Is everyone ok?"
 
"Hmm. You could try to talk to him. I don't know..." I trail off. "Ava?"

Satoshi's hair casts a shadow over his eyes, his eyes looking miserable. He was so confused about building the cupboard that it pushed him into being sad for a while.

Rae lay in bed, scratching lines into her knees. She shook slightly, and her tummy churned. "What did Jane mean by Lauren being Ava?" she whispered, worried.
