Trading Sakura Items - Encountered Balloon Glitch

I’ve gotten the apparent glitch where if you hit the 300 balloon Nook Miles goal, balloons will stop spawning for you. Thus, I can’t collect the rest of the sakura recipes until Nintendo fixes it. o(TヘTo)

So I’ll craft items I do have the recipe for in return for the items I don’t have.

I have:
- Bonsai
- Blossom Trees Wall
- Petal Pile
- Picnic Set
- Wand

Items I DON’T need:
- Branches
- Clock
- Pochette
- Wood Wall

I’m sure they’ll patch it out eventually, but who knows if it’ll happen before the sakura event is over.

I'm gonna have to use my second character to pop balloons. I won't be able to get the egg wand at all though now because i can't shoot down sky eggs to get the sky outfit craftable.

I literally want to cry. All I can do is play with a 2nd player alongside mine to even get balloons anymore.

Don't stop popping balloons, lads/ladies! To stop the glitch from affecting you, you just need to leave the last goal of the balloon Nook Miles as it is, but you can still go way over 300 balloons popped. If you do redeem it accidentally, just press the Home button and hard close the game.

EDIT: Apparently this only applies for non-resident reps (the 1st player), so still beware!

I did not redeem it and balloons stopped spawning. I believe this applies for non-island representative characters (the character who started the island)

Hmm, well, my sister is the one with over 300 balloons popped and she still sees them around (I'm the resident rep and at 150 or so), so you may be right. Apologies if this is the case, then

What a game breaking bug especially with these two events. Wish Nintendo would actually do something. I'm going to report this to their hotline too, already did the Amiibo camper one.

I did and I’m still not getting any balloons.
