I'm living in Japan for a year because of my SOs job, and we happen to have a Japanese room so I recreated it in game
my catchphrase in japan is "oh i recognise that from animal crossing!" so i thought this completed the circle Getting a brewski with my broskies.

Jambette is certainly past the Tadpole with Legs stage so I'm thinking that she's moved on to the Froglet stage.Does that mean she has a little tail?
Hmmm,Jacob raises a good point.No one in the Animal Crossing world has proper hands with fingers to be able to use a ball.

Surely you jest......Katrina just has flat toe beans,K.K.'s "fingers" are just two oven mitts he wears when he pretends to play the guitar and Cyrus' "hands" are two table leg feet.And most importantly,none of these critters are shown actually using a ball.
(Cyrus is only pictured because of his nature as a special character btw)
Eh, I like to joke-pretend sometimes.
But how do villagers with hooves for hands hold their stuff???

It's funny but after I posted my reply I suddenly remembered that in the original Animal Crossing for the Gamecube our villagers could kick a ball around the town.So I guess we don't even need hands with fingers as long as we have feet.
I am le sad I didn’t get to enter the Nightmare in Paradise event in time, but maybe posting some screenshots will make me feel better since I'll at least get to share it in some way 
I finally got my photo transfer working, so I went back and took more pics!
This is my secondary island, Alinguia! My primary island is also named Alinguia
But I like this one’s layout way better! (I reset forever for it 
)

I spent a long time decorating on my main island, then with less than a week left until the deadline, decided I hated everything and tore it all down 
Then I decided to decorate on my second island, but since that island is only a few weeks old and barely touched, I didn't have much to work with 
I had transferred all of my non-rep players from Alinguia 1 to Alinguia 2, so some items moved with them, but most of those were Christmas themed... So there were a LOT of trips back and forth between islands
My time on the second island featured a lot of: a) building something and then tearing it back down and b) walking around aimlessly in circles. But eventually I made something I liked!
...And then I kept tweaking things and adding on and on to it despite the deadline fast approaching, resulting in me not giving myself enough time to actually post it
(and of course I had to run into problems with creating a dream address and transferring screenshots. Problems that were probably easily solvable, but that my lizard brain was too panicked to fix)
ANYWAYS ENOUGH WHINING- Time for screenshots :3

The dream address is DA-6272-5649-4536, but only the section around Resident Services is decorated; the rest is empty or a mess

Ah, the Halloween event was so much fun! I took a ton of screen shots xD Its funny how I had to wear a spooky costume or no candy for me lol.
