it's a chinese online site, kind of like ebay, where you can open stores to sell your stuff; i've heard stories where the seller would put up some really nice but non-representative pictures in place of the fakes and cheap quality stuff that were actually being sold there

I hate when ppl show like generic pics of items, but what they actually sell is crap versions of it that they made.

o.o so far all my experiences with taobao have been fine -- the quality of the stuff I ordered were good too hhHHH
but then again all I've bought were... cosplay things ahahahaa //looks into the distance
when I made the badges tho, it was pretty stressful talking to the seller;; I sent my files over but for some reason they couldn't download it or something?? It's partially my fault since I'm not that familiar with the messenger they use for taobao tho orzz;; The badges are of great quality tho!! Probs will go to that store if I make any again ` w `

For me it was graphic designers, I was all OMG at their work and basically stalked their gorgeous web design xD Sure enough with years of practice I can reach that level : )
I had a no. 1 inspiration on neopets lol, literally this person was epic to a serious degree : O
