Searching for something with a generic title

Do you ever get ticked off with the fact that you found something interesting like a show or a book or a character name even, with names so generic that when you google it up, most of the results aren't what you're looking for?

It happens to me ALL THE TIME. It seems that the world is running out of ideas nowadays....

All the time, I hate especially when it's something I forgot what the real name was so I'm trying to look it up but it's way too general, and then I leave google thinking it must have been something I made up in my head, until years go by and someone posts something about it somewhere...

I'll probably sound like a dumb dumb, but I kind of need an example because I can't even think of something I was looking for that had a generic name?

The only thing that popped in my mind was maybe looking for a certain type of shoujo manga.

my problem is generally finding a song on the radio, trying to mesmerize the lyrics, but they're generic lyrics so basically anything but the song im looking for pops up

Doesn't help that the new hip thing to do in the film industry is to make one-word titles.

I hate song with a title which isn't even mentioned in the song, if it is it's mentioned once or twice or it's inaudible. Making it near impossible to find ;-(

I had it more happen in other languages than English actually but yeah I hate when you need like, an album title or a song and you random wiffle-waffle crap that don't even have to do with it.. wtf?
