I looked through the TBT FAQ and some other threads and couldn't seem to figure out the deal with seashells. What are they? How does one acquire them? What are they used for? If anyone has any information to offer I'd really appreciate it haha. Thanks! Hope I don't sound dumb asking this

You get ten from joining, certain account age milestones, and sometimes they're given out in announcements. You're able to see how much you have in the shop, there's a separate shop to use them in called "Kapp'n's Seaside Shack". :)

If you get them from joining then why have I never had any? Thanks for the quick reply by the way

Does your amount in the shop say 0? That's the only place I think you're able to see them.
You're suppose to have them, so it may be good to talk to a staff about it if you don't! :)

It does say zero, and I know I've never used any (my transaction log agrees with me haha). Weird!

Yeah that's pretty odd haha, the only other thing I can imagine is that your account was made when they didn't have that join bonus. Otherwise, I have no idea.
Hopefully someone is able to help you figure it out. :)

We have never given out Seashells in announcements. They were awarded to every member who's been on the forum for 2+ years, and they're also given to any member who has joined the forum after October of 2015. There are occasional glitches where the system doesn't auto-credit new members, so I've manually adjusted your total for you. For the future, threads of this nature are better suited to our Contact the Staff board to make sure you receive an accurate answer.

Thank you so much, I'll definitely direct any similar questions to the suggested board in the future.
