This has confused me quite a bit but what does “limited-time” mean in terms of the seasonal items? For example, Aurora wall is currently available in my nook link right now and it says it’s available for purchase until 12/31. Does it mean 12/31 irl or 12/31 in game time?

It means in-game time. So you could still TT back and get it if you missed it. However, when Nintendo announces upcoming seasonal items in a new update, they'll always be timelocked IRL up until that date, and then unlocked forever.

This. You can TT back to it, but you can't TT forward to holidays until they've happened. But items like that, in the catalog, you can TT in and out of that time period and still be able to buy them.

Ahh thanks! This is so good to know. I missed out on the grapeharvest basket and sunflower crown so I was pretty bummed about it. Now I I know I can still get it!!
