Yeah that sounds good to me! The glitch won’t affect Genji in this case, right? Since he isn’t an amiibo character, but being kicked out by one only

I’m not sure what you mean by glitch but my friend and I did it once. She was kicking someone out via amiibo. I made sure I had a plot of land ready and I flew to her island. I talked to the villager when she was in boxes and she was able to come because I had a space reserved for her. The second I left her island, she said the villager disappeared and said the spot was reserved for her amiibo. When I got to my island the plot of land I had for her was in her name so that’s how it should work.

nintendo released an update a couple days ago that fixes the villager plot bug, i heard some still have problems with it, but thats only a select few if not for before the aftermath

No apology necessary! I read that it was patched as of 1.1.2, but I’m still a bit wary. I’ve seen a good amount of people here reporting it happening as well.
