Sherb on a hybrid island. I got all the hybrids I could bring... along with Sherb :)

I was actually on the lookout for my Zucker boy.
But I believe this was meant to be. I came across Sherbie after about 5 tries when I was close to giving up (I always make sure I gather all materials, fish, bugs on islands tours or I feel guilty about wasting Nook tickets). I think the hybrid flowers were a sign that he just had to come with.
When I first saw his photos, I thought he looked a bit plain and meh but my oh my...! He's one of the cutest little villagers I had ever laid my eyes on.
He's definitely here to stay. So it turns out my island will have 2 lazy boys.

yes i'm convinced it was coded that the popular or new villagers are rare, and they often appear on hybrid islands omg. congrats though he's cute asf.

It's weird how you may not care much about a villager at the start and one interaction could change it all.

he's cute also he's a new villager with no amiibos available so yeah people been able to acquire them only through luck
