Should I buy the pokemon shield expansion pass?

it might just be me but i really didn't like the DLC, it was so overpriced when it could have just been included in the actual game (£50 was way to much to start with)

but yeah, i wish i never bought it tbh because i basically spent over £20 to have rayquaza on my team 😅

It always seems an unpopular opinion when it comes to the Gen 8 games but I really liked Pokemon Shield, it is weaker then quite a few of the older games but I still thought it was enjoyable, and I thought the expansion passes were good additions to add more to the games (though they were not worth the original price they were released at). I did prefer the Crown Tundra out of the two, the story was more interesting to me, but I did still enjoy the Isle of Armor - though like some others have said the storylines are short so if you decide to get the pass don't expect to get loads of hours of gameplay.

I'd say if you liked Shield, are interested in the returning Pokemon (as well as the new ones) and like the raid dens gameplay then go for the expansion passes, they're still a bit pricey but much better value then they were originally. If you found Shield to be a bit dull or boring and dislike the raid dens then I'd avoid the passes - especially if you'd only get them for the returning legendaries as you can only get hold of these by competing the raid dens and unless you play with real people to complete them they can be quite tricky and time consuming.

I wasn't a huge fan of the main storyline but I actually really enjoyed crowned tundra a lot! isle of armor was ok, it was fun but the play through time was super quick (like 30 or 45 minutes). But imo because of crowned tundra its worth it. I'd actually rate the expansion pass higher than the actual game itself.

So I waited for shield to drop and I bought the game upon it's release date. I was impressed with the characters and animation. I got pretty tear through the story too. Now I waited months for the pass and now it's here but i'm not sure if I should by the pass or not. Oh and for some reason my switch acts up when I attemp to put in a new sd card! Like acnh and other games say some data is missing and needs to be downloaded like what's up with that?

I think it's worth it, I bought it as soon as it came out and I've been enjoying it greatly, then again I'm enjoying the game in general and don't understand the negative feedback. I'm an avid pokemon fan too so maybe that has something to do with my enjoyment, I've pretty much played all of them and enjoy them all at different levels.
