should i sell my gyroids?? help

so, i have a lot of gyroids. i have a room in my house dedicated to filling the walls with them. but as my collection grew faster with the summer rain, i began to realize that i have a lot of duplicates and besides the creepy vibe of my gyroid room, i don't have much use for them. is there something i can use them for besides decoration, and if not, would it be worth selling them/giving them away??

If you have a ton of duplicates that are just taking up space and you have no use for them, might as well sell them. They go for a fairly decent amount at Nook's Cranny, too. Or you could sell them for extortionately high rates to players online if you really want to profit off of them.

Keep in mind the gyroids are not able to be reordered. You can sell them to Nook for some quick cash. If you’re willing to sacrifice convenience to make a little more cash, try selling them to actual people. Since they are not able to be reordered, people will likely shell out more bells to complete their gyroid collection. It’s ultimately up to you.

I think selling them is a good option. It’s also not too hard to get duplicates as you said, so if you find out you really need a certain one you can either buy from someone on here or just continue harvesting them until you find it again.

I now am overrun with them and i do love them but they really don’t serve a purpose for me except a couple for decorations and i plan to sell them or give them away.

Personally if I don’t plan on using them for my decoration, I just sell them. Since you collect them, I would recommend keeping just one of each, and maybe a couple of the others if you plan on using them outside as decoration. If you don’t plan on decorating with them and only wanted the collection, I would just sell all the extras. I imagine that keeping all those extras will take up some of your storage that you might want to use for other things.

They sell for 828 bells each. Which is a decent price when compared to, say, most bugs, DIY card recipes, etc.

that is a decent amount. I have no desire to sell anything lol to much effort. I have maxed out bells so i’d rather dump them on my island and have people come get them for free. So if you ever need a specific one let me know! I probably will have it!

I echo those saying sell them or give them away if you're not bothered about them, but just keep one of each handy for collection purposes. I think the only one that's really sought after is Brewstoid which is one per account anyway, if memory serves me.

If there are any you're missing, I'm also happy to look through what I have since I'll eventually be giving most of my duplicates away!

Sell them. If you have a particularly favorite gyroid, perhaps you could save that then sell everything else. I have a complete collection, but I still dig them up just to sell it.
