I?m trying to kill time until you know what and I have no guidance. My show and movie preference is a very stark contrast to my favorite game, Animal Crossing. I like dark dramas, Horror and TRUE CRIME. I just finished binge watching Kendal Rae?s true crime series. That?s pretty good if you need a suggestion as well!

sO i strongly recommend the end of the f***ing world (don’t report me thats literally what the show is called) on netflix.

i might be a bit biased since that’s the show that’s in my sig and my avatar but fr it’s a really good show - i wouldn’t say it’s a drama but it definitely is dark with some humour and some drama splashed in there; i won’t say much about the plot in case you do watch it and don’t wanna be spoiled, but it’s based off of a comic by charles forsman (the same as the show “i’m not okay with this”, which comes out next week and was also produced by the producer of teotfw) and the episodes are very fast-paced and waste no time since all episodes fall under 30 minutes, so it’s quick and easy to get through. :3

If you haven't seen it already, Breaking Bad is a masterpiece, and I don't use that term lightly.

Bojack Horseman is probably my favorite show ever, and it has some darker elements, but is supposedly an adult comedy. However, it's an average watch that you could probably get in a month. It takes a few episodes but if you stick with it, it gets really good. No show has stuck with me as much as it has.

That show is very VERY good! I watched it when it first came out maybe it’s time for a rewatch :)

Bojack sounds good, I don’t watch a lot of comedy but hell, I dont see why not

DARK on Netflix is SO good. So many twists and turns! Originally in German, but it is dubbed in English!

I'll list some not-so-obvious dark/horror films so you can look up the synopses and see what you like.

Heavenly Creatures (based off a true story), Martyrs (it's french but you can easily find subtitles), Stoker, May 2002, I Spit On Your Grave, Natural Born Killers, Cape Fear. I will admit, I haven't seen any of these in a long time and horror is not my specialty genre lol, but if you're looking for slightly more obscure stuff, then this is just a few.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned it yet, but there's a show called 'You' you may like. I don't know too much about it, but it's basically about a stalker.

I don't know why Google calls it a 'romance'. lol

Consider yourself lucky. I couldn't stand this show because both of the main characters and even the supporting characters except for the abused little boy are all insufferable. I had to stop watching about 5 episodes in because I couldn't even feel sorry for the girl who's being stalked; she's an awful person. I don't know why this show is so popular atm but I don't recommend it to anyone.

Thanks for the warning! I'll stay clear.

Listen to the person above me- I am not one to come to for show recommendations! lol

Martyrs, i keep hearing about it. I think I’ll watch this tomorrow.

I tried watching it when it first came out a couple years ago and hated it haha I’m validated.

You should check out Penny Dreadful on Netflix! It's pretty awesome.

I also just finished the first season of that new Netflix show called Locke and Key. It's pretty neat too. :)
