I was just thinking a little while ago about the silver axe. It makes every tree it cuts down have a 100% chance of having a special pattern. However, it lasts maybe a few more hits than a normal axe. It takes three hits to cut down a tree. I have not been able to test this theory myself so I was wondering if anyone would try it and post back here for the results.
Theory:
Use a normal/Golden axe for the first two hits and then use the silver axe for the final cut.
Would this triple the amount of special tree stumps that you can get?
The only flaw I can think of is that by only using the silver axe once does not activate it's ability, and that the amount of hits does not matter and the axe would still break after x amount of trees. I don't think the later would be the problem as my normal axe usually breaks regardless if the tree was chopped down.
Can any one test this?
