The Peanut Butter Fish
Less trash
I've been sleeping like a log compared to how I normally do (I hope I'm not jynxed by saying this). I thought maybe how I've been sleeping well might help some of you guys. So, here it is.
1.) About an hour before bed give yourself a bit of thinking/relaxation/meditation time for at least 20 minutes
2.)Make some herbal tea before bed and aim to finish it about 10-15 minutes before bed (tea for relaxation/sleeping preferred NO CAFFINE).
3.)Take care of all your stuff before bed so you won't think about it in bed.
4.)If you're worried about not getting enough sleep, cry a bit and it will make you tired (clean up your face too)
5.)Go to bed and think about things you look forward to (upcoming games, events, etc.) or repeat something in your head that's calming (I sometimes pray but I know some of y'all aren't religious and that's perfectly fine by me).
6.) If you need to get up, go ahead and get up if it will take some stress off you. Don't set a time you absolutely need to sleep or you'll be up all night worrying because you didn't make the limit. If your body absolutely needed rest it would make you fall asleep.
7.) That's it, lol
I'm just finishing my cup of tea now. Also don't strictly limit yourself to these rules or it causes stress when you can't fufill the steps. How are y'all doing? I am going to see a doctor and a therapist soon. Hopefully I survive until then. Also try not to take too many sleeping drugs, they aren't the best for you.
