Hey, you. Welcome to Photopia! The studio's open, so come on in, set up a room, hire some of our "professional" models, and let's get started! Groovy.


How to Participate

---

Take a quick seaplane ride to Harv's Island, create a sleepover-themed room in Photopia, invite your favourite villagers and snap a picture! Once you've taken a dreamy photograph, head over to the Private Contest and Event Submission board, create a new thread using the Event Name Sleepover at Harvey's, and post your picture. More details on how to submit your screenshot can be found here.

Submissions close Sunday, September 6th, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. Fair Time.

Once you've submitted your entry, feel free to post it here as well so everyone can see your fantastic creations!


Rules

---

• You may use either-sized room in Photopia.
• You may invite any villagers/NPCs you'd like to be in your photo.
• You may use custom patterns in your design.
• The submitted photo must be yours. Do not take others' photos and submit them as your own.
• Only one photo may be submitted per individual.
• Your photo must be unedited (i.e.: no in-game photo filters or other modifications).
• You cannot edit your entry once submitted.
• A reasonable amount of effort should be put into your submission. Submissions that appear rushed and/or submitted jokingly will not be accepted.
• Your design needs to be suitable for a PG-13 audience. If it would breach our Rules & Guidelines then it's not suitable here.

Participation:

• 10 tickets

The staff will vote internally to nominate entries. The entries with the most staff votes will then go forward to a public poll. The recipients for the first, second and third place prizes will then be decided on by the community.

Ever wonder what your villager dream of? In this sleepy dreamy room lives a young witch who was once working under Luna! Now she provides her services to the villagers of Starlow. Come take a peek who knows what you will see or dream of!

I had a lot of fun making this! It might not be the traditional sleepover but it still counts right ;-; It took a lot of time drawing out everyone's dreams (displayed with the simple panels) but I'm very proud of my buff Kid cat xD

okay mines pretty average but here’s a backstory. All villagers are in the clothing of things they want to be/or love.

Dom loves grapes, he just suits that purple colour so well!
Coco wants to be a pirate (and actually looks pretty scary asleep lol)
Audie wants to be a clown, when I had Pietro on my island they used to interact so much - I think she’s missing him!
Peanut wants to be a wizard
Punchy wants to be a sailor - I mean don’t even lie and tell me this look doesn’t suit him
Raymond wants to be normal, he wants to blend in with everybody else, he’s tired of being famous.

and me? I wanna be a mermaid lol (don’t we all)

summertime means the Cambry residents have brought Bangle's (early) birthday sleepover party outside! Dobie is hard at work finishing up the barbecue, just in time for the film's ending! everyone had *slightly* different reactions to it. but resident rep Jess seems to be the only one noticing the eerie atmosphere creeping over the party - has she yet noticed what's lurking in the shadows?
