They added so many small features in to this game, for those of you that said they was lazy when creating this game you were majorly mistaken.

For example, when you have a house by the river or the sea you can hear the water from inside your house. Or if you run over a patch of grass too much it dies and creates a path.

What are some small things/features you've noticed/heard about in the game so far? o_O

oooo im definitly getting either a house by the beach, river, or tom nooks but i dont want the grass to die D:

It takes ages to die and it grows back rather quickly, even faster if you have trees/flowers near the place that's died.

I dont like the path thing, I like my grass, eventually my whole town'll be a path if I play enough :(

When someone messes with the lights in your house, you can see it from the outside.

From another forum:
I am positive that I know that the 'villager complaints' is all about. Phyllis is more straight-forward with it, and her options of complaints include 'bad catchphrase', 'terrible clothes', and 'horrible letters'. I assume this is for if an animal moves from another user's village with anything bad with them. Say for example Rosie moved to my town with the catchphrase (that someone gave her when she asked) 'you suck!' or something like that. I suspect that you can report them for 'being mean', and perhaps the catchphrase will be wiped or something. For 'terrible clothes', maybe their clothes will be restored to default if they're wearing custom designs with something bad on them or something. For 'horrible letters' I assume the letters they have will also be wiped. I'ma try this out with Mac, seeing as I gave him a catchphrase of his own...

EDIT: Yes, that's it. When I complained about Mac 'being mean', the catchphrase I gave him, 'pthhpth', (which is Bob's) was wiped back to his original catchphrase, 'right'.

Well, that's a handy feature.
I also heard that you can delete messages from the bulletin board now.

The ability to switch between tools on the fly was a very handy addition and saves tons of time.

Haven't you always been able to do that, or am I wrong?

The hills and cliffs have returned.

'nuff said. Flat landscapes *coughWildWorldcough* were just painful.

I don't mind the hills aslong as there's decent ways to get up/down. It's annoying when you've got one ramp right to the left hand side and all the shops/town hall/etc are on the right hand side >_<

it keeps you playing a few seconds longer ;]

Adding small, stupid little cheesy features, DOES prove that they were lazy. They had the opportunity to do so many great things. They could have done some thing major! The City, lets face it, it's just a half circle with little animals randomly walking around, and the same old people other than a shoe shiner and a man with baloons being new additions. It further proves that they were lazy, Nintendo has, once again, turned their backs on the hardcore people that have been with them for years. And they made this half a**ed lazy game, for the people who are new. The MILLIONS of new customers they have now. To say that it ISNT lazy, is just blatant fan boyism, and not looking at the big picture.

If I had to do homework. And I did an essay on the Presidential Elections, and I added a little smilie face and a little star, and then told my teacher, "Look, my essay is better than it was before, because I added a little star! Give me an A." What would that be considered? Think about it.

Are you forgetting the Auction House, buyable emotions, and Redd whenever you need him?

This is WW for the wii, for a good reason. With better framerates, and the fact that the graphics don't suck. They added plenty new furniture, villagers, fish...

What did you want, an MMO? D;

Way to make a gross generalization. And also to forget that this game wasn't ever geared toward the "hardcore" to begin with. I think it's pure "fanboyism" to assume that the hardcore were ever a priority with this game to begin with. The self-entitlement is astounding.

Well, what I wanted was, I dunno, more animal interaction? Cool things like tents and igloos to come back? Better music?

The interaction is the biggest issue. Talking to animals was always a time killer, and what I actually loved best in ACGC. The fact that they abandoned that, and expect the city to make up for it? Not really acceptable.

It's still a fun game and all, but it could be much better. They weren't lazy with it, but they sure as hell didn't think too hard about what makes animal crossing great.

I feel less interaction with the animals like after 2 phrases they repeat the same thing over and over again. Brewster is my favorite character, I hope they haven't lessen that interaction with him as I drink more and more coffee!

So don't give up just yet the animals are watered down for a reason. Their Vocab builds as they move from town to town in fact they love to spread gossip. THEY ARE ALL EVIL IM WATCHING WHAT I SAY AND DO IN MY TOWN!!
