Small things

Adding small, stupid little cheesy features, DOES prove that they were lazy. They had the opportunity to do so many great things. They could have done some thing major! The City, lets face it, it's just a half circle with little animals randomly walking around, and the same old people other than a shoe shiner and a man with baloons being new additions. It further proves that they were lazy, Nintendo has, once again, turned their backs on the hardcore people that have been with them for years. And they made this half a**ed lazy game, for the people who are new. The MILLIONS of new customers they have now. To say that it ISNT lazy, is just blatant fan boyism, and not looking at the big picture.

If I had to do homework. And I did an essay on the Presidential Elections, and I added a little smilie face and a little star, and then told my teacher, "Look, my essay is better than it was before, because I added a little star! Give me an A." What would that be considered? Think about it.
Are you forgetting the Auction House, buyable emotions, and Redd whenever you need him?

This is WW for the wii, for a good reason. With better framerates, and the fact that the graphics don't suck. They added plenty new furniture, villagers, fish...

What did you want, an MMO? D;
Lots of gamers like little things. Like in Wind Waker (Zelda game) i love the cartoons, and the little emotions he does sometimes, or when link trips sometimes. There are so many different little things to appreceate, from a little star from his pocket (If you are afk for a while) To a baloon in the sky that you can shoot down. Even snowflakes count. Although u have a point, this could have been a 3.0, with more quantity than less quality, because right now, its a 2.5, with alot of little things- from mushrooms to townspeople.

Vocab building? No, sorry, they get stuck on one subject for a while which they only usually have three or so things to say about.

Well, what I wanted was, I dunno, more animal interaction? Cool things like tents and igloos to come back? Better music?

The interaction is the biggest issue. Talking to animals was always a time killer, and what I actually loved best in ACGC. The fact that they abandoned that, and expect the city to make up for it? Not really acceptable.

It's still a fun game and all, but it could be much better. They weren't lazy with it, but they sure as hell didn't think too hard about what makes animal crossing great.
I only have the GC version, getting WW on thursday. What did they change with the animals? There arnt much options, and you cant really affect what they do, but if you talked to them too much, they get annoyed. if u do more favors, they will like you more. and sometimes, they give your riddles, and trade options like. 'ooh im dieing for that regal carpet. ill trade my tiedie shirt for it.' and so on. they also quiz you to remember what their birthday is, and what events you like. But it doesnt raelly change their personality. If they agree with you, or need something from you, your answer can get you liked more, an item, a chore, or more hated.

Pretty much, in ACpopulation growing, you got to momentarily interact with the animals. Nothing really for the long run. Im probably forgetting alot, so fill others in and include other things you could do in the GC eddition, population growing

If you have friend codes the animals move and when they move back they Gossip about what is going on in the other towns give it time let the game develop its not even two weeks old yet and I love the world hollidays they talked about in the artical all I need to do now is find someone that lives in Japan to get their Holliday decorations

In ACGC there was much more dialogue than in CF. Occasionally animals, when they see you, will look excited and like they want to talk to you, and that's how you get most of the errands to run and such. But otherwise, they'll talk about gossip and only have 3 things to say about it, or bugs with only three things to say about it. If you do an errand, they'll only thank you, and not talk about something else for a while. I haven't seen them get annoyed, they just repeat the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over.

Now i remember. yeah, well if u converse with them too much theyle start getting angry and get an anger symbol near their head. And yes, you have like 3 options "whats going on today- which is random. they quiz you, ask you stuff, or just tell you stuff. Then there is Can i help you- Which makes them give u chores if they have any. The third one i forgot" They alternate from time to time (The dialog, but they all lead to the same thing) IF they see a bug, theyle stare at it. If you catch it, they clap. Their moods can vary from other animals, and if you hit them with a net, or decline their chore, or talk to them too much, or give them something, or tell them something. They would never change their house, just their emotion, Shirt, And their love for you (or hate ';..;') <3

Kobayashi:Remember that while the grass will slowly grow back, the speed at which it grows will change depending on the environment. If it's an area full of trees and grass, or where flowers are planted, the grass will grow back more rapidly.

Iwata:So before you knew it, you had ended up with a small-scale gardening simulator built into the game! (laughs)

Nogami:You can even cultivate the grass on your lawn in the way you want! (laughs)

Kyogoku:When an animal moves away from the town, a rectangular patch remains in the place where their house used to stand. When you see that and realise that this animal has moved away, it really makes you feel sad!

Moro:But of course, little by little, the grass will grow back, and as the traces of where the animal's house used to stand disappear, your memories of that animal will also fade.

Kobayashi:So by the time the grass has fully grown back, you'll have completely forgotten that anyone used to live there!

I think that's really cool, although i'll probably plant a tree right in the middle of the patch to make it grow back faster, if a villager has moved away I don't really want to remember them XD
