Snagging flowers from island tours...

i think I'm the only one with that opinion, but for me, taking flowers on the island tours feels like a from the game offered cheat. You get the gardenshop, at the beginning you only get 2 flowers a day, and with that island you get endless flowers, this is the worst thing ever for me. in past games, it was realy fun for me, to watch other towns getting more and more flowers, but now this is just eww, EVERY town looks like an flowercovered paradise, but this is no effort. In past games you must work hard for this, now you dont...

I know what you mean. I took loads back, but placed them tastefully and naturally around town. I think towns that stuff every free tile with flowers look tacky.

Anyway I'd recommend the butterfly tour for flowers, as it spawns loads. I've heard reports that very rarely a hybrid will spawn on tour, but I have no idea if that's true.

I put them everywhere, but only in order to breed more hybrids haha.

I agree that a sea of flowers in a town is tacky and overdone...
...but I really want some nice hybrids to line my paths when the time comes!

I've been taking them from the island for two reasons ^^
1. to make a pretty garden around my villagers homes and my own
2. to line paths!!

I did this too when I first gained access to the island. Much better than buying two a day at the garden shop and slowly building your garden. This way, you can hand pick whatever you want.
