Wow, this makes me so happy! I remember a forum I used to use a long time ago added the same snow effect starting on Christmas Eve. Now that forum is long dead for many years but seeing the same effect used here gives me a great feeling of nostalgia and days gone by.

Meanwhile we don't have any snow here irl. We have a storm though. Barbara or something? Noice m8.

When I saw the first one I was like, looking for the fuzz i saw then I looked back and saw more of them. I'm glad I wasn't the only one to mistake them. XD

While I agree the snow is an awesome touch, is there a way to turn off the effect as a preference?

I'm limited to browsing the web via my phone and the poor thing lags like crazy. Deleting words while trying to write posts gets frustrating.

Turning off JavaScript is a surefire way to get rid of the snow but will break other things. Alternatively, just use the [limiting] mobile site.

I've been having bad lag if I open multiple forum tabs and leave them open a while. I blame the snow

I like it though -- not too conspicuous, but enough to feel the season cheer.
