So Are Furniture Themes, Series And Sets Gone?

So somebody just told me that the pitfalls are in the game, but they have to be crafted. UGH! I am starting to really hate crafting. At first I liked it, but now I despise it. The game could do without it...it really drags the game down.

I totally understand that but I love it.

Collecting materials gives us something to do and it makes you feel like the furniture in your home and on your island are something you earned and made with your own hands.

I'm pretty confident new furniture sets will be added over time : it'd be way too sudden to have only a few furniture sets when one of the highlights of AC games have always been about customization & decking out your houses in many ways.

i have a few items from the rattan series like the chair, table, and dresser in my catalogue so i doubt there's no sets at all in the game.

I can see the Classic Bed and Classic something else as well as clock from Ed's house and it's so GRATING because I really really want it for my house but there's no way that I can have it!!!! :( And my nook store won't sell solid furniture for ****. I'm getting really annoyed at having an ever-growing empty house with no end in sight to the drought of good furniture! I really do not care for the new stuff over the classic sets that are very essential to the game for me. That's a really really stupid thing to have to "patch in" later. That makes no sense at all. I don't understand it and I honestly won't.

I am buying out Nook's Cranny each day regardless of its bad selection just so it'll upgrade. I've seen the upgrade appearance from other players' screenshots and whatnot and I'm not sure if this will fix the issue but I'm praying it will. There has to be a solution to this that's already in the game...

imperial, ratten, antique and cute are currently the only ones i've been able to find. i'm a tter and haven't discovered a single set beyond these 4. not a fan of the tiny selection of hugely basic, uninspired articles of furniture which the game is offering. giving diy items a new lick of paint doesn't do much to remedy this. the assets are right there and the decision to forgo them will forever be beyond me. even pocket camp has a more expansive range

Have you gotten the Nook upgrade yet? Right now in the Nook's Cranny store all I see is misc. one-space items, not even a couch. :( I really don't like those sets except maybe antique or rattan (only like the red & white versions of cute) but that's really.... underwhelming. I like certain furniture sets and they're the same furniture sets I've liked for literally 10+ years of playing this game and I am going to be so irritated if they're just completely missing! But it seems that they are because even people who have TTed very extensively, there's zilch evidence otherwise.

i have! unfortunately, it doesn't get that much better. there's a spotlight item, two uncommon items, and two regs which are infinitely purchasable. spotlight items are nothing special, usually they're set pieces with rattan being the lowest priced and imperial being the highest priced. it can be other things, like kitchen equipment. sometimes it's an instrument and hooo boy those things are overpriced. grand piano, essentially a reskin of new leaf's 3800 ebony piano, is worth a hefty 260k. even one space things like violins have been inflated to 140k. not understanding the pricing.

a set i forgot to mention returning is the 'zen' set? seems to be the only one, and i don't think it's all back. anywho the 'screen' now costs 140k from 1652 lmao

Im so confused by the pricing in this new game. Things have suddenly gotten so expensive ?? Like normal things are priced like an item from gracies store I just don't understand.

At least some of the kiddy set is in the game, it's the wooden block set but you have to customize it.
I miss the rococo set ;_;

I think the expensive price is supposed to discourage from buying and encourage us to craft instead. Ugh.
