I haven't had much luck with fruit but I've gotten some good furniture and I've gotten two real paintings from my villagers.

Jesi I got lucky too. I think I got mine in a letter as a present from a villager? I also got a persimmon for catching a villager a fish. You never know I guess. @o@

I keep delivering villagers presents and several times it's been a persimmon. They just have to rub it in my face and give me a shirt as a reward. Honestly, I am tempted to just open these gifts myself now and keep what's inside in hopes of bamboo or a persimmon. xD
