Is it me or does the link not work? I get "Access Denied" and some error message.

The original link goes to gamestop, which is region locked. A lot of US shopping sites don't allow traffic from the rest of the world because of regional Internet laws.
Edit: I've noticed mine is 7 but OP's is 8... If they are the same set, who's missing?

Interesting villager selection that they decided to go with for these... I almost would prefer if they were all NPCs because that would make a lot more sense in my opinion.
I have a feeling the special character would be C.J. (to go with his boyfriend Flick of course) or one of the dodos. Maybe K.K. Slider? If it's K.K. then this product would definitely have my interest I would be willing to try to get him lol

I was thinking the same thing when I actually bothered to look at the full set. It would had made more sense to go all Npcs or some of the main Npcs and the new villagers. They only have one of the new comers, Marshall who was or probably still is one of the top dreamies, and Lolly and whoever that is? Kind of weird.
Also it says 8 villagers, but their is only 7 figures. Is this going to be like the amiibo cards and you buy a pack and get a random selection? Or did they just go eenie meenie miney moe?
I could be wrong but I believe the villagers chosen are all very popular in the Japanese fanbase, so that might be why.

I could be reading this wrong, but it sounds to me like it's saying you'll get the complete collection plus a repeat.
I preordered those things SO FAST, lmao. I'm such a sucker for cute little toys like this! The flocked texture is perfect, since the animals in the game look like they have flocked texture themselves. 
If they make more villagers/NPCs in this style, I just. I don't know what I'll do. Become extremely wealthy in tiny little guys and extremely poor in money, I guess.

yeah from a quick search just there a "pdq box" is one like a shipping package that doubles as a shelf/display unit, didn't know that before. makes more sense to have 8 items in there than 7, assuming they're displayed in rows of 2

Aww they're pretty cute! But none are characters I particularly care about (can I please get a Dizzy??) And also there is about 0% space in my home left since it's already packed with various memorabilia. Not all animal crossing, but still.
Anyways the price is pretty good!! At least they aren't a total rip off like some animal crossing merch!

The fuzzy texture reminds me of Calico Critters haha. They look really nice, just wish there were more villagers or NPCs, none of the characters chosen are my super top favorites. May consider getting them anyways, I hardly have any Animal Crossing merch to begin with.

Ok, dumb question, is this for 1 statue or 8? Because the listing makes it seem like 8 (title says 8, talks about 7+1 statues), but $6.99 seems way too cheap for 8, plus it says "collect all 7" like you have to get them individually. How do you order the pdq box?
