There is another posting on gamestop for a whole set for $47 and some odd cents. However its description didn't talk about an 8th figure..

Unbelievably cute! I love the scaling of them, and the places they decided to make fuzzy. Not going to buy them, unless they come out with a T-Bone which they won't, but did anyone else experience forbidden snack energy? I don't know what it is, but the moment I saw these I wanted to put them in my mouth. Another reason to not buy them, I won't wake up eating my AC figurines during a sleepwalking episode.

Whaaaat they look so cute!!! I think it's awesome we get to see some villagers, not just npcs. I pesonally don't care one bit for npc dolls/merch so this is thrilling! I wonder if these will exist in my country at all TuT

Was that a mistake or not? The series set 1 shows 7 figures, but states that there are 8 of them.

It wasn't a mistake. There's only 7 figures available for Series 1, which means one box will have an extra of a character.

These are so cute. Just a shame I know it's highly unlikely I'll ever see a Phoebe, Claude or Sterling figure. Maybe I'll find Hamlet, higher chance of Audie or Judy though.
