Sorry if a thread on This Man has already been made but has it been confirmed that we'll still see Rover at the beginning of the game? I'd feel a lil sad not seeing the guy when I start on March 20th. I've always really liked him.​

I would imagine Rover would come back, he's one of the series Staples. I think he'd probably appear in some form or another.

My guess is that maybe he'll be your in-flight steward or on a video screen for an informational thing. You know, how like on an airline and they do they safety video or in the beginning sequence of Super Mario Sunshine? I just want to see him in a cute neck scarf!

I believe he was confirmed in January on the Japanese AC website, I'm going to try to find the source, but it translated to the effect of facilitating new animal residents on the island... will edit when I find the link.
