So what exactly does tbt stand for?

The forum currency. 'the bell tree'? It seems like it should be "bell tree bells." I dunno, seems off to me. Can anyone shed some light on why we call our forum bells that and not btb?

For years, the currency was just known as TBT. No one cared what it stood for in regards to the currency, but everyone knew it referred to the currency. Yes, it does actually stand for "The Bell Tree", and when people used it they said "TBT Bells", not just TBT.

In the past year or so, some people started using BTB to mean "Bell Tree Bells" and it just caught on. It's widely understood to also mean the currency, but people use both.

I always think of it as "The Bell Tree" but it makes no sense when referring to currency...

I think BTB is more fitting, which I think of it as "Bell Tree Bells" but I always just say TBT since it's more of a popular term.
