Yeah but at least blathers was cool enough to give you all of those plaques. Harvey simply is just like yay thanks okay peace lol. I mean I guess the reward is all the stuff you can do/buy in the shops etc but that's not really him saying thank you or anything like that lmao. I mean I don't really care, I just don't get it. Eh... I see your point. I hate spoilers so I would never want to spoil anything for anyone lol. I guess I didn't feel like this was a spoiler because Animal Crossing's storyline is a bit different. It doesn't really have a storyline. It's more simple and straight-forward and focuses mostly on gameplay etc. But I see your point tho.

That's how I see it as well. That literally is the reward. I'm just being facetious lol. Imagine donating a million dollars to someone in real life and they don't say thank you xDD. That's kind of one of the perspectives I interpeted as in my mind lmao. It's just funny to me haha

I see what you mean. I didn't expect anything more than just having the shops open. To me, I donated more for myself to have places to shop rather than to complete his dream lol.
For the museum, I actually wanted to help Blathers but when he doesn't even give you much, I went "screw that" and stopped worrying about finishing every part of it. I'm not bothering with the art and I'm only catching bugs/fish for my own sense of completion. I never go in the museum so to me it's a waste of time.

I get what you mean about not having considered it a spoiler. I think for me it counts as one precisely because AC doesn’t have much of a story—it just means that I want to be surprised by these small things even more, if that makes sense.

On the actual topic though…I haven’t gotten to that point yet obviously, but I don’t think it’s that disappointing. I also wouldn’t have really expected more. A thank you would be nice though—I guess maybe Harvey is just too spaced out to realize that we funded his dream? I dunno. I think I’m just used to being taken advantage of by these animals by now lol

Yeah I thought it was a bit shocking the amount it cost to make Harvey's island dream come true with no reward for the player or players involved.
