So, this may be a pointless question, but whenever you shower, do you use soap or body wash? Growing up, body wash gave me a rash because of how sensitive my skin was, so I always used this cucumber milk soap or something like that. However, I've recently tried body wash again and I don't think I'll ever go back. What do you use?
What an interesting thread!! I use body wash too (this special moisturising one)! Because my skin is also super sensitive, it’ll just dry out if I use any type of soap. ^^
Body wash. I don't like hand soap or whatever cause they are most of the time way more dry and you have thinner skin in those areas. I don't think I could use like, soap-soap hand soap or whatever for washing.
Bar soap, though whenever I run out I'm going to switch to body wash. My house has stone (travertine) walls and floor and it's a pain to clean. It's supposed to be easier if you use body wash, since bar soap makes soap scum that sticks to the shower walls.
Body wash. I don't really like using soap bars as they can be hard to use. The only time I may use soap bars is when I'm on vacation and I'm at my grandpa's house.
see, i have a dilemma with this. on the one hand, body wash is more sanitary because bacteria isn't spreading all over a solid bar of soap that is then being scrubbed over your body. on the other hand, body wash typically comes in a plastic container whereas a bar of soap comes in cardboard or some other biodegradable packaging, which is better for the environment.
i use body wash, but i'm looking into finding some solid body washes that will eliminate the plastic waste.
as in bar soap? those are very unhygienic, but unless you're sharing that bar with others it shouldn't be a problem. still, body wash all the way. i love browsing bath and body works for their body washes (and everything else)
I mean yeah, there are cheap body washes (avoid especially those that are both wash+shampoo) that are as dry but as long as you moisturise your body afterwards it should be fine.
