[Solved]Do balloons in balloon tour count?

I'm wondering how some people have the silver and gold balloon popping badge.
It's not so easy to get, when you rely on the 3-4 balloons you can find in a day.

My question is, do balloons from the balloon tour count towards the badge?

Answer: They don't count

They must do, because I got a bronze balloon badge before I even had a slingshot. I doubt the two or three village balloons I managed to kill on the cliffsides with my net were enough!

I sort of doubt they do count. None of the other tours count for anything - like if you catch a new fish, you don't get the info about it going in your encyclopedia.

I "think" there are 4 balloons an hour - aren't there? I have the silver badge. I'm just make sure I always shoot them down; especially the silver sling shot balloons that counts for two balloons.

I can't wait to get the gold badge so I can quit selling that furniture to retail.

That's because you don't get to keep them, unless you're doing a tour that isn't about catching fish

I think if the island tour counted, everyone would have had gold a long time ago. The game has been out over 100 days now. If you shoot down just 1 a day, you would have the silver by now. If you shot down 2 a day, you would have gold.

This badge is one of the easier to obtain I feel. Not like the crazy 2500 weeds. :-\

Someone told me that the gardening tour gives you the gardening badge easily. So me and my friend spammed that tour and soon before I knew it, I went from silver to gold.
So since that tour counted, the balloon tour must count too.

I personally don't think the balloons on the balloon tour count because I do that tour constantly, as it's one of my favorites, but I still only have the bronze balloon hunter badge. I barely ever shoot down balloons in my town because the items are useless to me now that I have the whole balloon set and a silver slingshot (now the gold one, too, but the silver ones keep coming up).
