SOLVED* Problem with animated avatar

Hi all, I've checked faq and scanned other q's and can't find a solution so posting it as a new thread here.

I purchased the animated avatar item a long time ago so that I could use the current avatar that I have. However when I came to change my avatar today to a new animated one, I tried both uploading to imgur / using the link, and also uploading the image from my pc but each time I'm redirected to this message

I'd be really grateful if someone could advise as to why this is happening and how to fix it

I'm pretty sure you don't need to buy anything anymore to use animated images, actually, but just in case, make sure that the item you purchased is ticked, so it's activated.

I've never used the uploader before, though. I just upload them to Imgur and then copy and paste the link.

AH! Thankyou! I didn't have it ticked on my inventory.
Yes I have been absent for a while, I didn't realize purchase was no longer necessary

Glad you got it working, but just to clarify, you actually do still need to have the item purchased and activated.
