The strange numbers and symbols are from when TBT switched from Zetaboards to VBulletin. All the posts were transferred over, but unfortunately, commas and other various punctuation or symbols were converted into the symbols. Obviously, the staff couldn't just go through and edit all the posts, as it would take way too long. All of the old threads were locked.
