some questions about rules

1.Why would the report button be taken away from you if you reported too many times or just made a pointless report?
2.What do you have against pornographic things just curious?
3.Why not tell people to ignore posts that break the rules why not ignore rulebreaking posts?

1. We do not physically remove the report button. However, you may receive a warning if you purposely abuse the report function. In the five years I've been staff on here very few have been given out. I'd go as far to say I'm confident that figure is in single digits.

2. Pornographic content is prohibited because children and teenagers access the forum.

3. We encourage users not to interact with rule-breaking posts. Please simply report a post if you see something that breaks the rules.

though as an aside, I don't even know of any of the staff's personal feelings on erotic content, but prohibiting something to keep the community user friendly to younger audiences isn't the same as being opposed to it

anyone who wants erotic content should already know there's other avenues for it. an animal crossing forum shouldn't have to be one of them
