Mine is VBulletin and it has validation but not working. My site is at risk for spam too!

Something scares me in this site BC well, my friends site was spammed and attacked by 15 people here and 11 attempted to spam mine too!

Well, due to this, people started complaining in the topsites and rating going low bc there are people not nice here.

If im being mean to the site, sorry, its just that my friends site was spammed the other day. I will see what happens by putting my web]you sorta gotta get used to it.. theres alot more mean people here than nice people, but its just their opinion and stuff.
its still a good forum, the people arent ''mean'' persay theyre just sorta respecting theyre opinion

The thing is, we (the staff) can't do anything to these member here at TBT, because they are not affecting TBT personally, so you and your friends need mods that can monitor your forums and deal with them there.

That a shame that you got spammed. Don't let them discourage you. Try and get that e-mail validation system up, pronto! That should slow down those spammers, because like Tom said, they won't waste their time making a bunch of emails.
