Spectre in the Study [SOLUTION POSTED]

I AM PLEASED.

You can also eat/lick things in the game :D I have just spent the past few minutes eating everything in the game. I will not go hungry tonight.

LOL, i did not tried this action command hahah, that must have been hilarious !

Ok THIS was fun! I was getting frustrated near the end, but like everyone else said, it makes total sense now. I feel silly now. :ROFLMAO:

Thank you Mistreil for this! Best site event I've ever been a part of! ❤

Me once I realized I could spam /take on everything

This was a cute little game though I was a bit confused by how it ended? It led me to believe there had to be more to it so I kept spamming commands. Maybe I missed sth but it was fun regardless

After you find the two codes, that's it! Nothing else beyond that, unless you want to check out what other actions do.
If you want more plot, just wait for the sequel "The Study: Part 2 Electric Boogaloo". jk... or am i?

Since this is the first time a text-based game was used for an event, I wanted to keep it somewhat 'short' but with a few challenging bits!
(I like text-based games, but I wasn't sure whether others liked them or not. I didn't want to make you all suffer too much if most of you ended up disliking text-based adventure games!)

Question for @Mistreil (or anyone who’s gotten the 30 haunted coins clue I suppose): does the solution require decent knowledge of NH? Because I have barely that version played tbh. *trying to stay spoiler free, please remove if not allowed*

The game requires a bit of Animal Crossing knowledge (and ACNH knowledge in particular will help a bit) but it should be solvable without it!

You don’t even need to have ever played the game New Horizons and it can still be completed.

ohhh boi, this was fantastic~!

When I first started I was a lil worried as I had never played games like this, and was confused; but once I got the hand of it, my mind whizzed with motivation to get my coins~ It was all amazing.
