Hey! I posted this because I wanted to know what you guys think about this. Like why did they only make them re-skins and not better versions of the original? :[ Or is there a legitimate reason that I'm just unaware of? ;-; Lol Just wondering cx
With games that have a competitive multiplayer focus, creative a character or a weapon that is exactly like another one but straight-up better something you usually want to avoid. Why would you create something if it essentially ends up as obsolete immediately?
Another reason was probably that in Splat 1, the Hero weapons were locked behind amiibos. So locking a better version of a weapon already in the game behind a paywall would be pretty scummy, so making the weapons clones of another weapon that everybody has access to was the better option. And since the Hero weapons were clone weapons in the first game, I guess they decided to keep that when making Splat 2.
I like the Hero weapons but I'm still salty that they used the Octobrush as the base for the Hero version instead of the Inkbrush. :<
like they dont even have different stats. because if i went through hero mode ten times just to get a black and yellow version of a weapon i already have im going to be pissed as ****
