It's soooooo much better without motion controls. I usually like them, but not in this game.

Yea, I'm trying to decide which I like now. I usually despise motion controls but they were quite nice with this. Maybe it's because I had an hour with them though.
 
That round was harder compared to the first two. I think I only won about half
 
this game is amazing.. it's far exceeded my original intentions. I thought it would be a slow bulky game, but it's actually really fun!

I can't wait to buy the full version of the game! What makes it even more exciting is the fact that we'll be able to customize our squidlings

Just finished my last match. I was going to hold off preorder until I finished with the demo and I have to say.... I'm going to preorder it right now. XD

The motion controls were bit iffy at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was pretty good. I ended up winning most of my matches, though I timed out a lot when there was about 20 mins left. How did the rest of you do?

Agree with this, more people knew the 'shortcuts' and their way around the map, but it made it more challenging and fun!

I don't think they actually showed special abilities in the tutorial, which is a bit silly since they're really important and game changing. I think they threw it out in a bunch of text at the end of the tutorial which most people will skip. I skipped it but I just happened to somewhat catch that info briefly as I was skipping through the wall of text, I wouldn't have known otherwise o_O



But yea, I am really confident in my pre-order now :3 I was a little weary of it but that was so damn fun!

The way the game plays makes using a controller rather than keyboard+mouse less of an issue since you don't need to be precise, you just need to aim in the general direction. At least with the 'fully automatics' anyway.



Also, hiding in the ink when you see somebody coming and ambushing them is so freakin' satisfying :3
