I think that would be cool but also difficult to implement- without ink shown then you couldn't:

-hide in ink
-regain ink faster as a squid
-swim faster as a squid
-slow down in enemy ink
-see enemy locations when they are too long in your ink or vice versa

Unless you can still do that but not know directly. So you would be invisible as a squid until you get to enemy ink? Actually does sound pretty cool.
I think the game has been datamined though and this isn't something in the game. :c

It would still act as regular ink so you could hide/swim/refill and everything, you just wouldn't know where the ink was or if it was even yours! Then when the match ends the color comes back and you can see who covered the most turf! Might be a stupid idea but I just thought of it last night and thought it would be interesting at least.

And don't forget that everything that was datamined simply came with the disc. Updates with new modes are always possible! c:

It sounds interesting, except the main problem would be just that, not knowin where your ink is, which means people could possibly spend the entire match shooting at their own ink which would probably get a lot of players made, especially if it was "default" and you didn't have a choice of you wanted to play it or not.

True, but I would think there would be some kind of "tell" (like the surface would be kinda shiny or whatever) but you'd really have to pay attention. There should also be a thing that lets you temporarily see what ink is where.

Like I said, just a thought.

It's a cool idea, but like, rollers (and inkbrushes kinda) would be at a huge advantage. They can keep walking and know they're not going to step in the wrong ink and it'd be easy to roughly track where you've been. Other things you might shoot ahead and try to swim and just flail in enemy ink.

I got up to B+ for a bit but now am struggling to stay in B-/B. I normally use the Splash-o-matic for everything but sometimes I just keep getting splatted over and over again. :c

I'm up to B+ like 60 now. Depends on what I play though. Tower Control is a lot easier to earn points in than Splat Zones. I've been using the Tentatek Splattershot and it's done wonders. I usually get 10+ kills per round (along with 10+ deaths but y'know that's pretty normal).

I killed DJ Octavio with a charger.

I never want to see any more Octarians and DJ himself ever again, bleck. I have my charger replica now though, ayy.

The amount of times I died during the last part is probably uncountable. I probably had to try at least 10 times before I killed him, think I was on one life when I did ahaha.
