I managed to get the top score 90% of my ranked games and last night I landed the rainmaker on it's mark about three times and others were like 11, 19, 2, 5~ So I don't play scared with it. (Especially so close to S xD) Duo's with Prime towards the end of my A- and duo with Chaotix at the end of my A+ helped, so ty guys for joining ^^

.96 Gal is awesome (@Luffy, no not because of the damn kraken) also Luna Blaster can be good sometimes in rainmaker. my problem is that it's hard for me to take the lead in ranked because of my aiming skills but I should toughen up and not rely on my mostly suckish team. I really love the Tentatek Splattershot it's great in every mode except for rainmaker, I believe rainmaker needs weapons that can kill really fast like the blasters and chargers maybe
 
Okay, worlds biggest achievement here. I just leveled up to 28, ranked up to A+ and unlocked abilities on two of my slots at the end of the same match. Bow down.

So many people use the tentatek splattershot for ranked, I don't get what's the big deal over it. I've only inked 310 points with it.

So I just used it and got 0 kills, 5 deaths and -10 rank points. Pls no.

I really suck with blasters..especially in 2v1 situations. If I'm lucky I might be able to kill one of them. I think the Range Blaster would be best in rain maker because the luna blasters range sounds horrid for this mode. I only like Tentatek/.52/.96 for ranked because their range is perfect and they all kill within 2-3 shots. Not to mention I like inkzookas on tentatek xD Currently not liking anything 30 range and lower for rain maker.

I swear if I slack just a little in ranked, the enemy takes the lead..it feels awful ;u;. I might practice getting kills with range blaster in turf mode l8er.

Havent played rainmaker in ages and the one time its on its saltspray rig >_>

I hate that map
 
I don't think Saltspray Rig is a good map for Rainmaker. All those skinny walkways make it really hard to maneuver around the Rainmaker.
 
My favorite weapon for rainmaker is the octobrush. It's easier to get close to enemies compared to other modes, the octobrush is great for killing, and actually, there's been a few instances where my team won the match because I laid down a nice path for the player carrying the rainmaker.

I learned the hard way not to play ranked ever when there are only japs laggy players

Omfg i was just i a ranked match and this japanese sniper was literally sniping me through walls...
And since they were pretty much always ADS i knew where they were aiming so i never went into their sights...
Still killed me tho...

yes! just finished my splatoon single player speedrun! it was fun ^^
I thought I'd do a speedrun of story mode with all upgrades and teleporting/squid jumping to the levels from the gamepad, I finished the game in an hour and 13 minutes! I might do it again because I believe I can totally beat this time. I've had some shameful silly deaths caused by rush, whoops

anybody else thinking of doing a speedrun?
