I get what you mean. When I choose between playing smash or splat, 3/4 of the time I will choose splat purely because of the fact that there is a leveling up and rsnking system. The main objective of smash is basically just to practice and be better than the rest. Which I like. But this is probably because smash is kind of like a sandbox thing where you get to choose what you wanna do, theres nothing you have to complete or anything. (Idk if you have to unlock characters on the 3ds version...?) But anyways it just depends what you're into I guess.

The WiiU version comes with more characters already unlocked, so there's actually more unlocking to be done in the 3DS version. It's still relatively quick, though.
 
I'm not sure what the rules are for this thread, are we allowed to discuss datamining leaks here? Bc I'm hyped
 
So that dataminer NWplayer123 recently posted a list of a bunch of new weapons and I'M FINALLY GETTING THE OCTOBRUSH WITH SPLAT BOMBS I WANTED... IM SO HAPPY...

It'll probably be difficult to develop good strategies at first but I barely use the squid beakons anyway so it's p much adding a weapon

I will be sad to switch to inkzooka instead of Kraken for the special tho... Inkzooka is one of my least faves bc it makes u so vulnerable

Geez, I haven't played on this game for a week or so since my friends finally dragged me onto another game. XD Played a bit this morning before college and I think I've decided now that when it comes to ranked, I should just not care. S and S+ are never going to be achievable by me... the most I can hope for is an A. XDD So if I just stop caring, then it doesn't matter if I go up or down the ranks. XDDD

Anyway, I may have some time tomorrow to play if anyone wants to join me or something. We could do squads or regular turf wars or mess around in a private lobby.
 
I ordered the Splatoon amiibo! They should arrive tomorrow :eek: (it is so sad that the Squid amiibo is literally impossible to get now :()
 
I usually don't give a heck about ranks. I'm too bad at it to get up at all, and splat zones is the only mode I really enjoy playing consistently (although I had an amazing rainmaker match last night that I won in the last probably 30 seconds). So I just pop on there once in a while when I want a change of pace

I saw around four three-packs just sitting in target the other day :blush: too bad I already had them :p
 
Darn it. For what ever reason I thought this was the Smash thread and thought there was some insane stuff found in today's update.
