SPOTIFY WRAPPED - How's yours turned out this year?

My list is a MESS........ my top artist was Taylor, top genre was J-pop, and my top song was good 4 u ??? Why is Misery Business there?? LMAO sums up my music taste (and me as a whole) I guess.
I listened to a whole lot of J-pop this year but from different artists so I didn’t specifically hyperfixate on one artist the way I did with Taylor Swift alone lol. Chill songs are there because I study while listening to them for extensive periods of time, and then Roselia and Afterglow are there because I’m really addicted to Bandori and I love the original songs (especially Roselia‘s ZEAL of Proud & Blessing Chord). Owl City is my all-time favorite artist, so I don’t think he‘ll ever leave my top lists.

All in all I didn’t spotify that much this year. Not really a music person. o(-( (or I just listened mostly on Youtube haha)


OH ALSO my vibe was hopeless romantic + wistful...... not sure where wistful came from but romantic hopeless 100% came from the good 4 u radio im sure of it. Anyway I like the color c:

I used Spotify a lot this year due to not having income to purchase any new songs I discovered this year. =(

The results are still funny, though.

Because it's kinda scrunched up I'll dictate it:
1. Medieval
2. Final Fantasy
3. Baroque
4. Sunshine Pop
5. Soul

Final Fantasy being #2 is the funniest thing here. Sure I listened to some FFXIV music here and there (mainly Hollowed Halls and the Revolutions theme from Stormblood) but how this happened I know not.

Nothing else there is too surprising.

Confident and wistful. Makes a bit of sense. I'm not exactly confident but I for sure am pretty wistful at times.

I listened to almost 40,000 minutes of music! 39,216! That's a LOT! With how much I work I'm surprised with how much I've listened. If I didn't have a job, the numbers would probably be a LOT higher. I think last year I had maybe 60k-70k minutes? I don't remember.

Not surprised my Top Artist is Bad Suns. I LOOOVE them. Spent 3,268 minutes out of the 39,216 listening to solely them. I'm 0.05% of their listeners this year! Last year, my Top Artist was Niall Horan. I actually think my % was higher because I streamed Heartbreak Weather so much. I think last year I was 0.005% of Niall's listeners.

Not surprised that Niall is here. A lot of my music taste from this year was influenced by my most recent ex. He loved Smallpools and flor. I love them too, though! If anything, I'm glad they're there. Wasn't expecting NF to be #5, though. I don't listen to him a whole bunch! But I do listen to a TON of Bad Suns and Niall. Along with Smallpools and flor cx

I'm not sure what to say for these. I love indie pop and dance pop a LOT, along with k-pop, but I don't think I listened to a lot of that, this year. Compared to last year, Red Velvet was one of my Top Artists last year.

LOVEEE the fact Violet by Bad Suns is my Top Song! I listened to this a lot trying to cope with the breakup of me and my ex. I listened to it nearly 300 times! I find that really interesting, haha.

LOST IN PARADISE being on here makes me UNBELIEVABLY happy! I'm so glad they added it back to Spotify, but I listened to it NONSTOP before they took it off, so I'm glad it's here, lol!
